Fulham’s Bobby Zamora (left) continues to show impressive form; he has scored 5 goals in 4 games: compared to 6 in the 18 months that preceded this latest run. His run of form has coincided with another run of excellent matches by Fulham (or, maybe, is the reason behind it). Their latest victims were No.2 Manchester United.
The success of the team and his own stellar form has allowed Zamora to post impressive gains in the FTBL ranking: he has boosted his score from 67 to 142 points in just 2 weeks.
Now Zamora will have to clear a hurdle of 10.55 rating points against Tottenham Hotspur. Even a single goal (with account of the bonus he will receive for extending the goal-scoring run) will allow him to beat that plank. And if Fulham win again, then the striker could hit a career high of 160-165 points.
