Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard (foreground) is back in the FTBL Top 23 of the English Premier League after yesterday’s 2:0 home win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Gerrard scored the opener to pick up a solid 18.30 rating points in the FTBL system and push his tally up to 117.11 points. He is now second only to Chelsea’s Frank Lampard (163.94 points) in our ranking of midfielders in the EPL.
Gerrard will now go into the last Premier League game of the year against Aston Villa next Tuesday with a guaranteed bonus of 1 point in our system. If the Reds come out on top once again, a return in the World Top 23, our list of the world’s top 23 players, could be in the cards for Gerrard.
