Colombian forward Falcao, who joined Portugal’s F.C. Porto last summer from Argentina’s River Plate, wasted no time to prove his worth with an FTBL score of 122 points achieved last October.
True, the Colombian experienced a lull right after, but he seems to be back on track: he scored 2 goals in the 3:2 dramatic win over No.7 União de Leiria yesterday to claim the top spot in the FTBL ranking of forwards in the Portuguese top league.
Falcao now comfortably sits at the top, some 8 points ahead of his most immediate rival. In addition, he faces a plank of just 9.6 rating points to beat in the next game against modest F.C. Paços de Ferreira. Porto have won 8 of the last 10 encounters between the two.
