Barcelona’s Brazil international Dani Alves (left) put his name on the scoresheet in the 3:0 win over Real Valladolid yesterday in La Liga to push his overall FTBL score past 150 points, an impressive achievement for a defender.
Now he is on course to beat the record score of 161.71 points set by Manchester United’s Serbia international Nemanja Vidic last February.
To achieve that Alves will need goalless wins in the next 3 games. Few will argue that Barcelona is incapable of that. But Alves might want to continue scoring, just to cover all the bases.
