Inter Milan’s Cameroon international Samuel Eto’o will be in the thick of action tonight as the Lions attempt to secure qualification to the semi-finals in the African Nations Cup against old nemesis Egypt. Eto’o, who is currently in 8th position in the FTBL world ranking of strikers, could return to a leading role in that chart if he delivers the goods tonight.
The plank to beat for the Cameroonian in the FTBL system will be an average 8 points. If he scores, the trick will be done.
With an overall score of 182.91 points at the moment, Eto’o will overtake not only No 5 Carlos Tevez (190.18 points) of Manchester City, but also Valencia’s David Villa (195.49 points) if he scores and Cameroon win tonight. Villa is in 4th place in our world ranking of strikers.
