Inter Milan’s Brazil international Lúcio (pictured) had the equalizer in the 71st minute as the Nerazzurri defeated beleaguered Juventus 2:1 to progress to the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia yesterday. He is now back in the top 6 of the FTBL world ranking of defenders.
Lúcio leveled the game after Juventus had taken the lead in the 10th minute, boosting his overall FTBL score to 120.01 points. He is now in 6th position in the world ranking. In our ranking of defenders in the Serie A, Lúcio is second only to AS Roma’s John Arne Riise (120.32 points).
In his next game the Brazilian will face a high plank of 14.60 points to beat in our system, which makes it unlikely he will pose a serious threat to Riise, who in turn will have to clear a bar of just 2.50 points in the league game against No. 7 Cagliari.
