In the Portuguese league, F.C. Porto forward Falcao (pictured) returned to the top of the FTBL ranking of strikers after scoring 2 goals in the 4:0 win over C.D. Nacional to pick up 9.55 points in the FTBL system and push his overall score to 127.58 points. He is also now the top-raked player overall in the league.
Falcao took the top spot from Benfica’s Argentine international Javier Saviola, who led in the ranking for about 10 days. Saviola (119.25 points) failed short of his plank of 15.56 points, despite his side’s 3:1 win over Vitória de Setúbal.
Falcao is now once again the highest rated Colombian player in our system. His current score is his highest since the inception of the FTBL rankings.
