This match was an example of how to bet and win in the
Fantasy Football World Cup, following the suggestions of the FTBL experts. The “Aristocrats” hammered the outsider Portsmouth, and if you are one of the lucky players that took our advice, you should have experienced a big rise in your team’s budget.
Let’s have a look individually at some Chelsea’s players. As we suggested you, the best option was to start from players with negative planks. From those ones, played:
John Terry (-6.50 points plank, got 14.50),
Florant Madoula(-3.00, 31.50),
Obi Mikel(-1.33,19.50) and the Russian
Yurij Zhirkov, who was even commented separately, got 14.68 points, despite being replaced in minute 71.
Moreover, we were right in your predictions about the attack line leaders:
Frank Lampard got 27 points in the match (1 goal scored that helped to overtake the 9 points plank) and
Didier Drogba that, as well as Madoula, scored twice, getting 35.70 points and overtaking a 5.00 points plank.
To sum up, despite the absence of the main goalkeepers we bet on, Hilario and Ross Turnbull, who were also suggested, from the rating point of view, we got a not so bad score. If only considering the six players described before, we get a points overall of 140. And this is just for half the squad. As you can see, playing and winning in Fantasy Football doesn’t consist in just choosing your favorite players, but in choosing the right players and having analytic and forecast skills.
