Villa tops the Spanish ratings

Valencia striker David Villa has gone to the top of the ratings in the Spanish championship with 203.40 points. The top goalscorer at Euro 2008 was on target twice in the match against Almeria.

Valencia won the match 3-2 to end a run of three matches without a victory.

In second place in the ratings is Lionel Messi - the Argentinean has 198.50 points. In the match against Racing Santander Messi first equalised, then scored the winning goal (Barca won 2-1), so earning 22.52 points.

Raul had another successful day: he opened the scoring in Real's match against Numancia, so gaining 18.37 points, which takes his total to 183.30. The second goal in the game, which finished 2-0 in Real's favour, was scored by Robben. The Dutchman increased his points tally by 7.59, raising his current rating to 134.34.
