Atletico Bilbao lost the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final 1-2 away to Sevilla. This defeat has adversely affected the position of Atletico striker Fernando Llorente, one of the 23 leading players in La Liga according to the FTBL ratings.
Llorente opened the scoring in the 43rd minute, but Sevilla turned it round in the second half, and goals by Duscher and Acosta in the 61st and 90th minutes won the match. Since he did not earn the necessary number of points in this match, Llorente's rating fell by 13.92 points to 129.06.
In the next league match Atletico are away to Valladolid, and Llorente will have to overcome a barrier of 31.10 points, because the match that has been excluded from his "LAST 5" was a very successful one for the striker.
On 18 January Atletico beat Valencia 3-2, and Llorente scored the winning goal in the last minute of the match.
The only player in the Top 23 with fewer points than Llorente is Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano with 128.34, but the Brazilian is currently out with an injury.
