The Argentine league is back on track after a short 1½ month interruption. Lanus’s forward Jose Sand (picture) wastes no time to add to his rating already in the first game.
Lanus won their game against Racing, with Sand scoring twice, adding 17.38 points to his rating to boost it to 145.45 points overall. His main competitor, Martin “el locco” Palermo, missed his team’s game. His rating remains unchanged at 106.46 points.
Tigre Keeper Daniel Islas hung on to his convincing lead amongst goalies. His rating stands at 93.66 points, while his nearest competitor trails 30 points behind.
Bocca’ss Gabriel Palleta leads amongst defenders with 79.49 points, and Lanus’s halfback Sebastian Blanco holds the lead in his position. Blanco earned 15.59 points in the first round, which enabled him to grab the lead from Juan Riquelme.
