Real Madrid’s Raul now tops the Top-23 list of best forwards in the world according to the FTBL, with 199.58 points.
Raul grabbed the top spot after previous leader Wayne Rooney of Man United lost 18.43 points in the game against Fulham, despite his side’s convincing 3-0 win, with Rooney scoring one of the goals. Rooney’s fall was expected, since he scored Man United’s only goal against LDU on January 21, earning twice more points in the process.
Rooney has now slipped to 3rd place with 188.04 points, allowing Inter Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic to edge pass with 189.98 points.
Will Raul be able to hold on to the top spot? The next weekend will provide an answer to that question, when he will need 17.00 points. Ibrahimovic will have to earn 18.38 points, while Rooney only has to earn 13.00.
