Serie A round-Up

Lazio, Roma and Juventus all secured late wins to keep pace with Serie A leaders AC Milan.

Lazio moved level on points with second-placed Napoli with a late 1-0 win over Sampdoria at the Stadio Olimpico.

Libor Kozak grabbed the winner for Lazio six minutes from time to keep their title charge on track.

Roma moved into fourth spot with a 1-0 success at Cesena thanks to an own goal from Maximiliano Pellegrino a minute from time.

Juventus boosted their top four hopes with a 2-1 home victory over bottom of the table Bari.

Alessandro Del Piero fired Juve in front two minutes before the break, but Gergely Rudolf drew Bari level just before the hour mark.

Loan star Alberto Aquilani grabbed the winner for Juve when he volleyed home 11 minutes from time to lift Juve above reigning champions Inter Milan in the table.

Palermo suffered a blow in their bid to finish in the top four after going down 3-1 to Cagliari.

Alessandro Matri opened the scoring for Cagliari on 23 minutes and the home side were gifted a second goal when Antonio Nocerino put through his own net three minutes into the second half.

Javier Pastore reduced the arrears two minutes later, but Davide Biondini made the game safe with Cagliari's third on 55 minutes.

Udinese kept their European hopes alive with a 4-2 win at Genoa.

Pablo Armero broke the deadlock for Udinese on 27 minutes, but Omar Milanetto drew Genoa level right on the stroke of half-time.

Antonio Di Natale restored Udinese's lead on 56 minutes only for Mattia Destro to equalise for the hosts two minutes later.

Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez gave the visitors the lead 20 minutes from time and German Denis wrapped up the win with the fourth in the final minute.

Brescia boosted their survival hopes with a 2-0 win over Parma.

Parma were facing an uphill battle from the minute Massimo Paci was sent off just before the half-hour mark.

Francesco Bega made the breakthrough for Brescia right on the stroke of half-time and former West Ham man Alessandro Diamanti added a second two minutes from time.

Catania and Chievo shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw.

Maxi Lopez gave Catania the lead on 29 minutes from the penalty spot, but Sergio Pellissier secured Chievo a point with a 64th minute leveller.
