Former England manager Steve McClaren has been sacked by German Wolfsburg after just nine months in charge. After the defeat from Hannover this weekend Wolfsburg is 12th in the 18-team division and only a point above the relegation play-off place. Under McClaren Wolves could get only 5 wins in 21 matches.
