The Man United – Arsenal Champions League tie could provide Cristiano Ronaldo with the perfect opportunity to extend his lead in our FTBL rating of the world’s best players. The Portuguese international, who returned to the top recently, currently has an overall rating of 221.98 points.
Ronaldo will have a plank of only 7.20 rating points to beat tonight against the Gunners. A good performance could send him far ahead of his rivals: a win for the Red Devils and a goal would go a long way towards doing just that.
But a defeat for Man United would probably mean a loss of the top spot in the FTBL World Top 23 for the Portuguese. Spain striker David Villa stands ready to grab the lead in that case, with his current rating at 218.06 points.
