Chelsea captain John Terry (pictured left) returned into our FTBL Top 23 rating of best defenders in the world after demoting Manchester United’s Patrice Evra from the third place.
Terry grabbed the third place after Chelsea’s 3:1 win over feisty Fulham. The England international played the entire game, collecting 4.70 rating points to take his overall rating to 126.88 points.
His rival for the third place Patrice Evra played just 78 minutes in Manchester United’s 2:0 win at Middlesbrough yesterday. Evra lost 0.25 rating points after we multiplied his earnings in the match preceding his last five by a coefficient of 0.1. With his current rating at 118.24 points, Evra has slipped to 5th place, behind Arsenal’s William Gallas, who has been nursing an injury since April.
