Our FTBL Top 23 for the Russian Premier League underwent substantial changes after last weekend’s action. Longtime leader in the rating Zenith’s Konstantin Zyryanov lost his top spot after his side’s 1:2 loss to Rostov. Zyryanov lost a whopping 23.63 rating points and with 82.25 points has ceded the lead to CSKA Moscow’s Milos Krasic.
Krasic was rested in CSKA’s comfortable 3:1 win over Krylya Sovetov, but the Serbia international had a high rating of 92.20 points he retained.
Zyryanov is now in third place behind Dynamo's Aleksandr Kerzhakov, who has 84.92 points. The Russian international had little input in his side’s win over Spartak Moscow, which led to a loss of 9 rating points; Kerzhakov was unable to improve on his previous performance when Dynamo beat Tom 2:0 and he had a double. Despite the loss, Kerzhakov remains without serious rivals among forwards in the Russian Premier League.
