Borussia Dortmund flattened bottom-placed Karlsruhe 4:0, with the goal scored by Turkish midfielder Nuri Sahin (pictured second from left) netting him 11.50 rating points and a spot in the FTBL Top 23 rating of midfielders in the Bundesliga with 104.28 points over all.

Borussia’s other three goals came form Jakub Blaszczykowski, Felipe Santana, and Alexander Frei. Borussia are now level on points with Hamburg, with a good chance of winning a Champions League berth next season.

Former sole leaders Wolfsburg’s 1:4 trashing at Stuttgart meant they are now level will Bayern Munich in first place. Wolfsburg forward Edin Dzeko was likewise on the down side this time around: despite his goal against Stuttgart, the Bosnia international lost 27.33 rating points in the game. Dzeko has now exited our FTBL World Top 23 and even lost his top spot in our rating of best forwards of the Bundesliga to Stuttgart’s Mario Gomez.

Bayern, meanwhile, won convincingly against Energie Cuttbus 3:1. Bayern defender Martin Demichelis, who scored one of the goals, earned a spot in our FTBL Top 23 for the Bundesliga with his overall rating of 95.75 points. France international Franck Ribery, who missed a dream opportunity to add a fourth for Bayern from the penalty box, managed to hold on to his spot in our list of best midfielders of the Bundesliga with 11.65 points over all.
