Lyon’s 3:0 convincing home win against Nantes in the French Ligue 1  resulted in changes in our FTBL Top 23 for the league.

Cameroon international Jean Makoun (pictured) scored a double and earned 18.20 rating points, moving up to 6th place in our FTBL rating of best midfielders for the French league. He now has 89.63 points over all.

Makoun also widened the gap between him and Rennes’ Stephane M’Bia (70.54 points) in the rating of Cameroonian midfielders.

Makoun’s rise resulted in the exit of teammate Jeremy Toulalan from our FTBL Top 23 for the French league, despite the later earning 3.50 rating points in the game.

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris returned in our Top 23 after succeeding in keeping a clean slate. Lloris earned 4.70 rating points and, with 73.31 points over all, now ranks 3rd in our rating of best goalkeepers in the Ligue 1.
