Cagliari’s Robert Acquafresca (pictured) returned into our Top 23 rating of best U21 players after scoring one of his side’s goals in the 2:2 draw against AS Roma. Acquafresca picked up 11.73 rating points in the process and now has 103.49 points over all.
Cagliari will be traveling to Reggina in the next round, and the young forward will have a plank of 20 rating points to beat. He set the plank in the game against Bologna, in which he scored the winning goal (1:0).
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund’s Neven Subotic lost his lead in our rating of young defenders after his side’s 0:3 trashing at the hands of Bundesliga current leaders Wolfsburg. He lost 20 rating points and picked up a yellow card. The rating of defenders is now headed by Man United’s Jonny Evans, whose overall rating jumped to 82.20 points after the Red devils’ victory over Wigan.
