Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko (pictured) is without doubt this year’s revelation in European football. He was at it again Sunday, scoring goals—three of them—as his VfL Wolfsburg demolished Honnover 5:0 to secure their first Bundesliga title. Brazilian Teammate Grafite added another two. Dzeko has now vaulted from 6th to 2nd place in the FTBL World Top 23 rating of forwards.
The hat-trick earned the Bosnian a whooping 37.20 rating points, and, with 22.84 points over all, he is now second in the World Top 23 only to Atletico Madrid’s Diego Forlan.
Grafite’s double earned him just 4.36 rating points and he continues to rank second behind Manchester City star Robinho (157.11 points) in our rating of Brazilian forwards with 142.62 points over all.
