Former Sweden international Henrik Larsson, who tops the rating of veterans in the Swedish league, could soon break into the FTBL Top 23 for veterans.

Larsson currently has 50.47 points over all, with a plank of just 0.20 rating points to beat in the coming game.

The 38-year-old forward’s club Helsingborgs IF are set to meet BK Hacken in the next round. Despite regularly making the starting lineup and scoring often enough, Larsen will still need a double in the coming game to join the Top 23 for veterans. His last double was on September 1st when Helsingborgs demolished Hammarby IF 5:1.

Larsson’s direct competition in the Top 23 for veterans is Krylya Sovetov’s Czech forward Jan Koller, who has 64.76 points over all. His closest rival in the Swedish league is 19-year-old teammate Rasmus Jonsson, who has 35.39 points.
