Hamburg’s Croatian forward Ivica Olic concluded his stint at the club with a goal against Eintracht Frankfurt that helped the Hamburgers to a 3:2 victory and berth in the newly created Europa League next season. The Croatian earned 23 rating points and is ending the season with a spot in the FTBL Top 23 for the Bundesliga.
Olic now has 153.69 points over all, the highest rating among Croatian players. His nearest rival, teammate Mladen Petric, has just 120.83 points over all and has not scored in his last 5 appearances. Petric still managed to boost his overall rating by 17 points in the game against Frankfurt.
The Croatian national team will be playing an important match against Ukraine on June 6 in which Petric will have a plank of 30 rating points to beat. He set the plank in his side’s 2:1 win over Hanover, in which he scored a goal.
Meanwhile, Olic will have a plank of just 15 rating points to beat in the game, since his double in the semi-final of the UEFA Cup against Werder Bremen was not much help to his side. Olic picked up 15.56 rating points in that game.
