Wolfsburg’s Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko (pictured) is the top-rated European player at the moment with 258.19 points, a consolation prize after he was toppled by Atletico Madrid’s Uruguayan forward Diego Forlan as the highest rated player in the world.
The third spot in the FTBL rating of world best players is occupied by Man United midfielder Cristiano Ronaldo with 226.44 points. Ronaldo still retains the chance of claiming back the top spot with the Champions League’s final set to take place in Rome on Wednesday: he will have to earn more than 15 rating points to move up in the rating.
Liverpool’s Dutch forward Dirk Kuyt took 4th place with 206.86 points after picking up 12 rating points in his latest appearance.
