Former Juventus Czech star midfielder Pavel Neved (pictured) has retired at the top of the FTBL ratings of Czech and veteran midfielders at the age of 36.
We took into account Nedved’s 64 appearances, in which he earned 527.82 rating points, an average of 8.25 rating points per game. His current rating stands at 108.60 points, meaning that Nedved boosted his tally by a whopping 62.02 rating points in his last 5 appearances alone, completing his illustrious career in style.
It is worth noting that, despite his retirement, Nedved does not appear to have a credible rival: his nearest in the rating of veterans, Villarreal’s Robert Pires, trails by more than 20 rating points, while the number 2 in the rating of Czech midfielders, Arsenal’s Tomáš Rosický, trails by an even wider margin of more than 40 rating points.
