Chelsea’s Ivorian star striker Didier Drogba is back in the FTBL Top 23 of the Premier League’s best forwards after a month in the wilderness.
Drogba, on international duty with Cote D’Ivoire for the 2010 World Cup qualifiers, helped his country secure a 2:1 victory away in Guinea. He earned 12.30 rating points to boost his total to 158.31 and dislodge Manchester City’s Brazilian superstar Robinho from the 6th spot in the FTBL Top 23.
Despite earning more rating points in the World Cup qualifier against Uruguay with Brazil—18.51 points—Robinho ended up with a loss when we factored in the points lost in the game prior to his last five: Robinho’s total ended up printing at 146.46 points over all.
