Northern Ireland and Birmingham City goalkeeper Maik Taylor (pictured) has for the first time joined the FTBL Top 23 of players over 35 years of age, edging out Sevilla’s experienced Andres Palop.
Taylor has over 70 caps in his 10-year career with the Northern Ireland squad. He has conceded no goals in his last 4 appearances and, with a tally of 86.90 points, is just 0.26 rating points ahead of Palop. Taylor will have a perfect opportunity to widen the gap with his rivals when Northern Ireland travel to Poland on September 5 for a World Cup 2010 qualifier.
