AS Roma defender Juan (pictured) has returned in the Top 23 of Serie A defenders after a string of strong performances with Brazil, pushing out AC Milan’s Gianluca Zambrotta.
Juan, whose rating has been dropping in the past three months, has regained top form and produced great performances in Brazil’s wins against Uruguay (4:0) and Paraguay (2:1) in recent World Cup 2010 qualifiers. He picked up more than 30 rating points in the two games, while Zambrotta has yet to play for Italy.
With an overall rating of 90.72 points, Juan now ranks 4th in the Serie A chart of defenders, while Zambrotta, with 84.10 points over all, will have to produce equally strong performances with Italy in the coming games if wants to return in the elite.
