Italy’s 0:1 fall to Egypt yesterday in the Confed Cup in South Africa had a particularly devastating effect on the ratings of Napoli forward Fabio Quagliarella.
Quagliarella lost a whopping 25 rating points--the biggest loss of any Squadra Azzura player—leading to a drop from 2nd to 4th place in the rating of Italian forwards.
In truth, it was a miserable night for most Italy players: Fiorentina’s Rocardo Montolivo lost 11.76 rating points, Udinese’s Simone Pepe dropped 8.19 points, while AS Roma’s Daniele De Rossi and AC Milan’s Andrea Pirlo lost 6.45 rating points, each.
