Bayern Munich’s massive Italian forward Luca Toni (pictured) left the pitch once again without a goal yesterday in the Confed Cup as Italy couldn’t find their footing against a brilliant Brazil and lost 0:3, bowing out of the competition in the process. Toni, as has been the case in every match played by Italy in the competition, lost a whopping 22 rating points.
Toni spent just 57 minutes on the pitch before being substituted by coach Marcello Lippi in an effort to give more teeth to the Squadra Azzurra. The Bayern Munich forward now has just 131.49 rating points and has slumped from 1st to 4th place in the FTBL Top 23 of Italian forwards.
AS Roma’s Francesco Totti has now grabbed the top spot in the rating with 143.25 points over all, despite having been left out of the squad by Lippi.
