Villarreal’s Spain international Juan Capdevila (pictured in a red jersey) has lost the top spot in the FTBL Top 23 of the world’s best defenders to Chelsea’s John Terry following Spain’s shock 0:2 loss to the U.S. in the Confed Cup semi-final in South Africa.
Capdevila lost 22.42 rating points as a result of the 2 goals conceded and has now traded his first spot in the rating for the 5th.
Another Spain international, Barcelona’s Gerard Pique, has also dropped in the rating. He lost 14.86 rating points and slipped from the 3rd spot to the 4th in the rating of Spanish defenders.
