Werder Bremen midfielder and Germany international Mesut Ozil (pictured) re-claimed a spot in the FTBL Top 23 of U-21 midfielders after helping Germany defeat Italy 1:0 in the European Youth Championship in Sweden.
Ozil’s performance earned him 9 rating points, boosting his tally to 79.81 points and putting him in 4th place in the rating.
In the rating of German midfielders Ozil ranks 8th and could soon be overtaken by Bayer Leverkusen’s Gonzalo Castro who, with a tally of 55.60 points at the moment, is guaranteed a bonus in the next match.
