Real Madrid’s new sign Raul Albiol (pictured right) was given 90 minutes of playtime with Spain in the game for the 3rd place in the Confed Cup against South Africa, and the young defender picked up more than 10 rating points to move within 5 rating points of soon-to-be teammate Sergio Ramos in the rankings.

With 92 points at the moment, Albiol in now firmly entrenched in the Top 23 of Spanish defenders, while Ramos, who was left out for the game, nonetheless managed to overtake Barcelona’sGerard Piqué . Ramos has 96.54 points over all, Piqué has 93.66.
