Despite winning the Confederations Cup with Brazil, Manchester City forward Robinho has to make due with a retreat in the FTBL Top 23 of Brazilian forwards: with an overall rating of 179.45 points, he has lost his 2nd spot in the ranking to Wolfsburg’s Grafite (179.70 points), while Sevilla’s Luis Fabiano now sits at the top with 211.23 points.
Robinho began the tournament with a loss of 9 rating points when Brazil struggled mightily to beat Egypt 4:3 and he slumped into 3rd place in the ranking. Then he redressed the bar, scoring a goal and earning 25 rating points in the 3:0 win over the U.S. in the group stage.
But Luis Fabiano overtook the Manchester United star after the 3:0 win over Italy. Robinho remained in the 3rd spot for the remainder of the competition. He lacked just half a point to overtake second-placed Grafite.
