Valencia striker and Spain international David Villa (pictured in red) concludes the season as the best in the FTBL ranking of Spanish forwards with a tally of 209.19 points.

Despite a season in half-tone, Villa never let his rating descend south of the 200-point mark, which turned him into a permanent fixture in our various top rankings.

Liverpool’s Fernando Torres, Villa’s main rival, ended after all in second place with 184.26 points. Despite having had a more stable season, Torres was mostly beset by injuries and, frankly, was less exciting.
