Corinthians defender and Brazil international André Santos (pictured) is reportedly on the verge of signing for Fenerbahçe, where he should play an important role among the many Brazilians already at the Turkish club.

Fenerbahçe have in their ranks such celebrated players as former Brazil international and Real Madrid left-back Roberto Carlos (35.44 points), midfielder Alex (45.12 points), and forward Deivid (57.94 points), all at the top of FTBL rankings in their positions in the Turkish league.

Santos, who was a key player in the Brazil squad that recently won the Confed Cup in South Africa, has been less impressive with Corinthians in the Brazilian Serie A, and his rating has suffered as a consequence (30.79 points). But the 26-year-old routinely picks up upward of 8 rating points per game, which is more than any of the Brazilians currently in the Turkish side can boast at the moment.
