Despite a goalless draw against Spartak Nalchik yesterday, CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev still managed to glean 5 rating points and remains the best goalkeeper in the Russian Premier League with an overall rating of 70.655 points. Akinfeev earned just 5 rating points because of CSKA’s recent 0:1 defeat to Kuban in which the Russian international picked up less than a rating point.
Defender Sergei Ignashevich likewise remains the best defender in the league with 77.63 points over all. He earned 5.76 rating points in the game against Nalchik.
CSKA’s best midfielder and forward—Serbian international Milos Krasic and Brazilian Vagner Love—rank only 3rd and 2nd in the FTBL respective rankings with 70.37 and 84.73 points, respectively. Love failed to capitalize on a golden opportunity for a bonus as he dropped 5 rating points in the game against Nalchik. Krasic lost a whopping 10.31 rating points in the same game, as he failed to better his performance in the World Cup 2010 qualifier in which Serbia had the upper hand over Austria.
