Tottenham Hotspur’s Russian international Roman Pavlyuchenko is reportedly now in the radar of Italian Serie A side AS Roma. The Italians are reported to be interested in a loan deal that would bring the striker to the Stadio Olimpico.
With the worst FTBL rating (71.56 points) among forwards at Spurs at the moment, the Russian has little chance of securing a place in the first team, especially considering the imminent arrival of England international Peter Crouch (98.81 points).
By contrast, a move to Roma would put Pavlyuchenko in 3rd place among strikers behind virtuosi Francesco Totti (139.90 points) and Mirko Vucinic, who has 131.69 points. Totti and Vucinic also have better star indexes (9.85% and 9.2%) than Pavlyuchenko (5.6%). But the Russian picks up around 9 rating points per game, which is not too little next to Vucinic’s 11.35 points per game.
