Barcelona’s Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen reportedly remains the target of English Premier League side West Ham United. If a deal is struck, it is safe to assume that Gudjohsen, with an overall FTBL rating of just 45.48 points at the moment, will not be among the leaders in West Ham’s attack.
Gudjohnsen will rank 4th in our rating of forwards at West Ham behind Dean Ashton (78.18 points), Carlton Cole (72.15 points), and David Di Michele (47.53 points).
Despite his near flop at Barcelona, West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola remains convinced Gudjohsen will be a great addition to his side.
“His experience would be very helpful to us as we have a very difficult situation in attack,” said Zola.
