AC Milan appear to have successfully completed their search for a striker this off-season with the signing for Real Madrid's Dutch striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar (pictured). Judging by his statistics, we believe at FTBL.com that the Dutch international will be in a position to compete with any of his new rivals at the San Siro.
Huntelaar, who has an FTBL rating of 73.64 points at the moment, had a tally of more than 224 points in April and was among the 6 best forwards in the world on our chart before he experienced a slump in form in summer and dropped an astounding amount of rating points. He is now not even among the first 200 strikers in the world in the FTBL ranking: in his last 5 appearances Huntelaar dropped a whopping 30 points and picked up just 1.71 points.
But with Milan’s attack clearly in need of new blood, there is no doubt Huntelaar will be a welcome addition to veteran Filippo Inzaghi (103.56 points), Brazil’s Alexandre Pato (79.31 points), and Marco Borriello (76.53 points). In fact, Pato and Borriello trail Huntelaar in the average rating points take per game (13 points against 9.76 and 9.87, respectively).
