Manchester City have offered 15 million pounds for West Ham United’s defender and England international Matthew Upson (pictured), The Guardian reports.
With an overall FTBL rating of 59.63 points at the moment, Upson is the best defender at West Ham, while he is only 170th in the FTBL world ranking.
If a deal is struck, Upson will rank 3rd among defenders at City, behind Ireland international Richard Dunne (66.50 points) and new recruit Kolo Touré (61.73 points), a former key member of Arsenal’s defense. It is likely Upson will have to compete head-on with the Cote d’Ivoire international for a place in the starting lineup, although Belgian Vincent Kompany (57.19 points) could also join the fray.
