Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow have considerably bolstered their midfield with the acquisition of Real Betis’s Chilean midfielder Mark González.  CSKA have reportedly paid 6.5 million euros for González, who at the moment has an overall FTBL rating of 77.17 points, some 2 rating points and change more than former leader among midfielders at the club Serbian international Milos Krasic (74.68 points).

González’s high tally results from the fact that the Spanish La Liga rates higher (category 5) in our system. The Chilean was also the highest rated midfielder at Betis, who have now been relegated to 2nd division.

In addition, González ranks first in the FTBL ranking of Chilean midfielders, ahead of Udinese’s Mauricio Isla, who has a tally of 74.99 points at the moment.
