Today’s World Cup 2010 qualifier between Belarus and Croatia will determine whether Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric retains his top spot in the FTBL ranking of Croatian midfielders.
With an overall rating of 74.47 points at the moment, Modric will have a plank of 13 rating points to beat in the game in order to earn a bonus. His rival in 2nd place in the ranking is Portsmouth’s Niko Kanjcar, who has 70.89 points at the moment and a similar plank of 13 rating points to beat. Who eventually walks out of this game with the top spot could end up being determined by not just the performances of the two players, but also by such things as a yellow card or the amount of time spent on the pitch by each of the two players.
