Barcelona’s new boy Zlatan Ibrahimovic (pictured left) will play his first game rated by FTBL.com today when the Catalans take on Zhakhtar Donetsk in Europe’s Super Cup. Considering that he faces a high plank of 23 rating points to beat in our system in order to advance in the FTBL ranking, the Sweden international will have to pray Barcelona come out on top.

Ibrahimovic currently has an overall FTBL rating of 186.43 points, and given that today’s game is rated Category 6 in our system, a simple victory for the Catalans will be enough. With the remaining top strikers in the FTBL Top 23 facing daunting planks this weekend, it is likely a good portion of them will drop rating points. Ibrahimovic will therefore drop in our ranking only if Barcelona lose tonight.
