Sevilla forward Luís Fabiano (pictured) was instrumental as Brazil compounded the miseries of arch-rivals Argentina in their effort to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa with two of Brazil’s 3 goals (3:1).
The brace earned Fabiano 12.66 rating points to boost his overall FTBL rating to 178.82 points and consolidate his position at the helm of our ranking of Brazilian strikers, ahead of Manchester City’s Robinho (149.84 points).
Fabiano has also returned among the world’s top 6 strikers (in 5th place) in the FTBL ranking, pushing down Inter Milan’s Cameroon international Samuel Eto’o (176.91 points).
