Galatasaray’s forward Milan Baros (pictured) found the inspiration that had eluded him so far on the international level yesterday as he scored four times to help the Czech Republic maul San Marino 7:0 in World Cup 2010 qualifying. His performance powered him up the FTBL ranking of forwards.
The former Liverpool point man picked up a record 58.13 rating points in our system to boost his overall FTBL rating to a career-high 154.96 points.
Baros is now in 16th place in the FTBL World Ranking of forwards and has captured the top spot in our ranking of Czech forwards, as well as that of forwards in the Turkish top league. Baros has now demoted Fenerbahçe’s Spain international Daniel Güiza (104.03 points), who had topped the FTBL chart of forwards in the Turkish league for 8 months in a row.
