CSKA Moscow’s Sergei Ignashevich (pictured second from the left) scored one of the goals in Russia’s 3:1 win over Wales in World Cup 2010 qualifying on Wednesday, boosting his overall FTBL rating by 15.63 points and firming his grip on the top spot of the FTBL ranking of Russian defenders. He now has an overall FTBL rating of 90.24 points.
Vassili Berezoutski, another CSKA Moscow defender, has also risen in the ranking thanks to 20 rating points earned in his last two appearances for Russia and the goal scored against Liechtenstein on September 6. He now has an overall FTBL rating of 72.31 points and is 3rd in our ranking of Russian defenders.
Zenith St. Petersburg’s Aleksandr Anyukov is now sandwiched in the ranking between the two CSKA Moscow players with an overall FTBL rating of 84.99 points.
