Chelsea goalkeeper and Czech international Petr Cech (pictured) has claimed the top spot in the FTBL World Ranking of goalkeepers thanks to strong performances with the national team.
After taking part in the 7:0 drubbing of San Marino by the Czech Republic in World Cup 2010 qualifying on Wednesday, Cech was rewarded with 7.35 rating points in our system.
With an overall FTBL rating of 124.68 points, Cech has edged past Inter Milan’s Brazil international Júlio César, who has an overall FTBL rating of 121.64 points at the moment.
