Real Madrid’s number one keeper and Spain international Iker Casillas (pictured) re-captured the top spot in the FTBL ranking of goalkeepers as the Merengues defeated Espanyol 3:0 in a convincing performance on Saturday.

Real scored three goals, while Espanyol not once found the net of their opponents: for keeping a clean sheet, Casillas was rewarded with 15.59 rating points in our system. He now has an overall FTBL rating of 135.37 points and has returned the top spot in our ranking of goalkeepers.

In the FTBL World Ranking, Casillas remains under pressure from nearest rivals Petr Cech of Chelsea (125.78 points) and Barcelona’s Víctor Valdés (125.17 points).
