Hamburg’s Brazilian veteran Ze Roberto (pictured) is showing incredible staying power at the very high level. The former Brazil international captured the 7th spot in the FTBL World Ranking of midfielders after a fine performance capped with a goal in his side’s 3:1 win over Stuttgart in Bundesliga action last Sunday.
Ze Roberto found the net in the dying minutes of the game to earn 15.6 rating points in our system and boost his overall FTBL rating to 135.68 points.
In addition, the 35-year-old is now the top-ranked Brazilian midfielder in the world, ahead of such current superstars as Real Madrid’s Kaká (127.31 points) and Juventus’s Diego (117.32 points, in 5th place).
